FOOL!!!! Unless you have personal, first-hand experience with opiate (no, not opioid... opiate) addiction, don't talk.
I guarantee you Trump had an opiate script when he got his skull reduction surgery to cover that big balding spot erupting on the massive crown of his head, and I guarantee you he was very thankful for it.
Ever taken Imodium? Guess what, that's an opiate.
Did you know that the vast majority of OD's off hydrocodone (Vicodin, Lorcet, Norco) & oxycodone (Percocet, Roxicet, Endocet, etc.) are caused NOT by the opiate in them, but instead by the massive amount of Tylenol knocking your liver out and killing you? It's a fact.
Of all the people who are prescribed opiate painkillers, less than 5% graduate into full-blown addiction.
Since the bulk of the world's opium and opium derived substances come straight from Afghanistan, & we've got quite a few people over there... why not burn all the fields? Shouldn't take that long. Ohhh, that's right. That'll destabilize the economy and everybody will starve to death and it'll be all kinds of chaos all over again. Better pump another $615 billion dollars into the defense budget.
As anybody that reads my posts knows, I rarely- if ever- post anything political. But this whole "Opioid Epidemic Taking Over America" bullshit is the biggest crock of shit I've seen in quite awhile.... and everybody believes it! Because.... most anybody that's ever been or is there very rarely will stand up and speak out, out of fear of being labeled, watched, jailed, or whatever.

I forgot the most important point in my rant- chronic pain.
Anybody who thinks they're against opiates is going to change their mind real damn quick when they're laying in the hospital in 10 years with pancreatic cancer and your doctor is giving you two Tylenol every 6 hours. Tell me then how horrible opiates are.
